We want to fix your instrument and make it perfect again!
Please give us as many details as possible regarding the fault of the instrument that you want us to maintain for you. And please remember a few very important things:
- We are sometimes very busy, and we like to take great care and concentrate hard when we are carrying out work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to book an appointment with us to hand your instrument in. It just means we can have a chat with you in person and that helps us a lot in our line of work.
- The best way to get in touch with us, for the same reason, is by email: email@example.com You can leave a message for us 0n 0131 447 1117, and we will get to it as soon as possible.
- If you need your guitar repaired the same day, we are probably not the technicians for you. We never rush jobs, ever. Every job is completed like it was our instrument and the highest level of care is put into each repair, and that takes time and cannot be rushed. We would be dubious of anyone who claims they can repair instruments ‘on the quick’.
- We find our prices to be very fair and in line with what the standard prices are across the industry, the one difference for us is that we are VAT registered. That means that 20% of every job we do, goes straight to the government. We don’t pass this fee on to the client; we take it out of our costs. Yes, it makes it harder for us, but we pay VAT because we have a lot of clients, and we have a lot of clients because we are good at what we do. So it is just one of the things we need to accept. Most other guitar repair businesses in Scotland are not VAT registered (at the time of writing), this is in no way a criticism, many excellent guitar technicians across Scotland have built up fabulous reputations due to their work.
